- Work closely with designers, artists, and other team members to create high quality features
- Create or improve tools as necessary to support specific features/systems.
- Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize across all applicable platforms.
- Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in the games industry.
- Deep familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
- Solid working knowledge of all technical aspects of game development assisting the leadership of programmers outside of core expertise.
- At least one shipped modern console or PC title in the Senior Programmer role.
- Expert in C++
- Console experience with Unreal.
- Must be able to work remotely from home.
EXTRA POINTS

- Managed remote teams previously
- Familiar with serialization in Unreal
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with programmers, artists, and other team members to create high quality features
- Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
- Create thorough documentation for systems and features.
- Participate in regular Vulcan mind melds with the Game Director.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the video game industry.
- Advanced understanding of mathematics, balance systems, and Excel.
- Able to develop and champion a strong design vision for a game system from concept to completion
- Able to work creatively in a demanding technical environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work remotely from home.
